Located just one block from the Avon Theatre, one of the many venues of the world famous Stratford Festival of Canada, The Parlour has become a popular destination for discriminating diners. Situated in a beautiful heritage building in downtown Stratford, our menu offers something sumptuous for every taste and budget.

Appetizer

  • A House Specialty of Roasted Tomato & Wild Mushroom Soup garnished with stilton, basil pesto & croutons
  • Our own Caesar Salad with warm bacon lardons, crostini & freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Organic baby Spinach Salad with candied walnuts, goat cheese truffles & our orange and roasted cumin dressing

Entreé

  • Roasted Portobello mushrooms on a toasted chiabatta bun with goat cheese & asiago with white truffle vinaigrette dressed field greens
  • Linguine with basil & olive oil marinated Neubrand Country tomatoes with fresh cracked black pepper
  • Sloppy Joe made from local Brandbrook bison with fresh cut fries
  • Smoked local Lyndon farms trout & potato salad with a carrot sauce & horseradish cream

Dessert

  • Homemade apple crisp served warm with vanilla ice cream
  • Flourless chocolate ganache with our house made chocolate ice cream
  • Our specialty Pavlova, a sweet meringue topped with whipped cream and sugared almonds and surrounded in a duo of raspberry and lemon sauces

  • Pan Seared local Lyndon Farms Arctic Char with a warm fennel confit, tapenade & local tomato salad
  • Fresh handcut udon noodles with a spicy local Camperdown Farms lamb and mint ragu
  • Roast supreme of chicken with bubble and squeak, and a mushroom truffle jus
  • Duck Confit traditionally prepared and very highly received with vegetable cous cous and a classic orange sauce
